Client Profiles
The Office Professional
Heidi has worked successfully with clients who live a stressful professional lifestyle that requires hours of computer or seated work. These clients typically desire a healthy body composition (body fat percentage vs. lean body mass), and relief from physical stress and fatigue brought on by the work environment. Clients like these havenʼt the time, knowledge, or motivation to produce the most effective workout needed to achieve their desired fitness goal.

Special Population
Heidi has worked with clients that have physical issues or conditions that have been properly diagnosed by a medical professional. A carefully planned fitness program may be prescribed as part of the individualʼs prevention or rehabilitation plan. Special health conditions that Heidi has worked with include hypertension, post physical therapy rehabilitation, osteoporosis, and lupus. Heidi has also worked with the Seniors (over 65 years old), Obese (30% or more than what is considered healthy), and Sedentary clients.

Performers and Competitors
These clients that Heidi has worked with have a specific goal, usually based on body fat percentage or measurements, and a specific time in which to meet the goal. These clients include entertainers with an upcoming performance or event, athletic competitors preparing for competition, and brides anticipating their wedding day. Depending of the amount of time given to achieve the desired goal, the workouts can be demanding and physically challenging. Keeping focused, safe, motivated, and challenged is the key to achieving the desired results.

Personal Interests
Heidi has competed in Aerobic Competitions, Fitness Competitions and Fitness Pageants. Her first competition in these events was in 1994 and the most recent was in 2006. Winning Titles include: 1995 Kauai Aerobic Champion, 1995 Student Body Ms. Fitness, 1998 IFBB Ms. Fitness Switzerland (5th), 2000 Viva Aerobic Champion, 2006 Ms. Fitness Team USA.

Heidi became involved in the sport of gymnastics in 2001 by becoming a USA Gymnastics Junior Olympic Judge for Menʼs Artistic Gymnastics. She has been on the Judging panel at the Pacific Alliance 2002 and 2006 watching our Menʼs National Team compete against other countries like Japan, Taipei, and Australia. Heidi is our Stateʼs only female USAG Judge in Menʼs Gymnastics and regularly judges boys at sanctioned meets, State meet, and when needed at Regional level.

“In 2006 I ran and finished The Honolulu Marathon, my first running event ever. Iʼm not a runner, Iʼm a social trotter. We are the girls trotting around Ala Moana Park catching up with friends, talking the entire time. So, how did I decide to run 26.2 mile Marathon? Well, a friend of mine approached me on a Tuesday night (5 days before the race), and offered me the use of her running number. She decided not to run that Sunday and knew one of my personal goals was to run the Honolulu Marathon. I accepted and committed to run the race in 5 days. Participants spend months, sometimes years,
preparing for this event. My mantra was to #1. Finish, #2. Donʼt get injured, and #3 Have fun. I accomplished all three in 6 hours. Itʼs amazing what I learned about myself and my body and what happens to the human spirit when your body wants to quit. I found inspiration in the forward motion of the race. I didnʼt know the route well enough, but I knew I was going to continue one foot in front of the other. Nothing that happened a mile back mattered, or who you were passing, or who was passing you. All that mattered to me was moving forward and finishing. And thatʼs just what I did.”
